Life in Berlin
Berlin – this wonderful city, that I thought I will never in my life set foot on due to my narrow mind at the time. It’s been nearly a year and my experience and living in berlin so far has been great and I haven’t regretted it one bit. I particularly love all the green space and how calm and quiet Berlin is, lots of green space and the people are very relaxed and always seem to take their time (which I find sometimes annoying coming from London, where everybody seems to be racing against the clock).
Berlin Reputation
The wonderful atmosphere and in times of nice weather the Beer Garden to relax make Berlin a dream destination. But before I decided to move to Berlin, I heard about the bad reputation of certain neighborhoods in Berlin. But a few months down the line, I realized that although those kinds of areas exist, they have nothing beautiful and it will be no interest of me visiting them in the first place, although one thing I always find sad in human behavior is that there always seem to be a few individuals that destroy everything for other people. In this case, the image of the population, a population that wants to forget about the past and wants to be known as friendly and welcoming.
Living in Berlin: The Weather
My only problem with Berlin is the winter, which I found very hard, -20C was not the best temperature for me, as I never in my life been in those kind of conditions. Living in Berlin during winter does make a lot of people keen to live in Berlin change their mind. I remember falling sick during the winter due to me not being used to this kind of temperatures. But only near the end of the winter, was when I finally found my feet.
Berlin Lifestyle
Berlin is a wonderful place, I’m really enjoying it and right now the summer is on his way, and I’m getting ready for the no closing time night clubs, the open air cinemas, the lakes where we can swim, the boat trips and also the beer gardens in Hackischer Markt, or everywhere else, with a nice fresh Berliner Kindl. Summer in Berlin, I just can’t wait. Berlin is a town to visit, hope too see you soon. Be Berlin!
My experience in Berlin has been the best, I hope you will enjoy it as much as I do!
